History

 

Established in southern Taiwan in 1975, the Company specializes in the cultivation of Spirulina. Under the guidance of Dr. Watanabe of Tokyo University of Japan, an internationally renowned micro-biologist, and Dr. Keiun Kodo, an expert in Spirulina, “SPAILEN” Spirulina was successfully developed and launched, which since then has enjoyed a history of 31 years. The product has been sold worldwide, e.g. US, Japan, Mainland China, Southeast Asia and Australia and the quality is reliable and trustworthy.

 

 

 

 

 

Professional and meticulous Spirulina cultivation

The Company received the ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certification in 1999. The environmental policy of “law compliance, pollution prevention, waste reduction, public participation and sustainable improvement” was revealed in 1998 and the environmental factor is included in the products, service and activities of the Company to demonstrate its commitment and dedication to environmental protection.

 

The Company passed the Food GMP Certification in 2002 to become the first GMP professional Spirulina cultivation factory in Taiwan. Through strict technical operation of hygiene management, planning and management of an excellent production environment, and comprehensive quality management operational system, the quality target satisfying customers is achieved to protect the health and well-being of consumers.



Professional research team Awarded several international certifications


Our research team, consisting of professional Spirulina R&D personnel, has always stuck to the R&D concept of striving for the best. We have won the “1986 JHFA Certificate for export”, “1997-1999 Food Golden Award”, “2005 COAA Organic Food Certification”, “2004 National Biotechnology & Medical Care Award” and “2005 THSFA Healthy subsidy Food authentication”. The Spirulina production technology and product quality of Nan Pao International Biotech. Co., Ltd. have won recognition and appreciation which in turn has given Nan Pao much confidence in its future development of health food.

Get the JHFA Certificate in Japan

Japan is well-known for its emphasis on food safety and health food, which imposes strict requirements on the examination of imported products. We are really honored to acquire this certificate for our Spirulina products form 1986.

 

 

 

COAA Organic Food Certification
We received the COAA Organic Food Certification in 2005. COAA is now a member of IFOAM and so its certification system follows IFOAM’s organic standard.
